Next World Forum KSA 2023
In November 2023, ESE Director Ivan Brinklow was personally invited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Prince Faisal bin Bandar Al Saud to attend the Next World Forum and Gamers8. During the visit, he engaged in constructive discussions with global figures, including Gary Vaynerchuk, Director Michael Bay, and Footballer Gareth Bale, alongside other international dignitaries.
The KSA Story
The 2023 Next World Forum in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was delivered across two days, featuring a comprehensive agenda covering gaming, esports, artificial intelligence, and the accelerating future of immersive technologies.
Ivan Brinklow attended as the sole Australian representative, presenting the ESE Master Plan and engaging in high-level discussions on the convergence of governance, media, and next-generation sport.
During the forum, Ivan held an extended meeting with Gary Vaynerchuk to discuss artificial intelligence and the long-term vision of the ESE ecosystem. He also explored the concept of a dedicated global gaming, esports, and future-technology media platform with acclaimed director Michael Bay.
While in Saudi Arabia, Ivan met Brian “The Beast” Diang’a, a Kenyan gamer committed to guiding youth away from gang culture and toward opportunity through gaming. That conversation marked the beginning of an ongoing relationship, with Brian later becoming the first official ESF Ambassador.
